Kidde’s AC/DC Hardwired Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide alarm with Voice Warning provides two important safety devices in one unit. Uses a breakthrough technology to offer a fast response to real fires, including smoldering and fast flaming, as well as protect you from carbon monoxide and dramatically reduce the chance of nuisance alarms. When either sensor notices a potential hazard, it will communicate with the other. Depending on what is detected, the alarm will adjust its smoke sensitivity in order to better discriminate between a real hazard and a false one. Voice Warning signals “Fire! Fire”, “Warning! Carbon Monoxide”, “Low Battery” and other verbal announcements. Interconnects up to 18 Kidde smoke alarm and CO alarm devises. Battery backup (2AA batteries included) provides protection even during power failures.
